Sooqr makes site search AWESOME. We offer a site search solution to a fast-growing number of clients, all over the globe, mainly in e-commerce. Sooqr makes it easy to add relevant & great working site search to websites. Making sure our customer’s customer finds the exact product and content they’re looking for, and much more. 

Our goal? To make our search even more awesome and easy for our clients to implement themselves. How? By developing extensions for common e-commerce platforms, a back-end with a growing number of functionalities and a platform that will always work, fully automated.


We are looking for a Backend Developer who's passionate about getting the most out of site search, building the greatest customer experience and taking our company to the next level and also enjoys wearing the hat of Scrum Master. Working closely with the Product Owner, you’ll also facilitate daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies for the development team - tracking, escalating and removing impediments where needed.

You are: 


  • Ideally, you have a degree in Information Technology.
  • You have solid knowledge and experience in PHP, MySQL
  • You have knowledge and experience with Python/Golang, Docker
  • You have knowledge of Laravel or similar frameworks
  • You have some knowledge of Javascript
  • You have some experience/or knowledge of the Cloud environment (AWS)
  • You have a basic understanding of XSLT
  • Some experience or knowledge of Solr
  • Knowledge of Devops workflow
  • Experienced working in an Agile environment
